| By
offering a one piece designed panel,
it enables a repair facility to eliminate the jig-saw
puzzle of using factory panels and trying to glue them
together, hoping the seam lines don't crack after the
car is painted. This one piece design saves countless
hours of labor on installation. Essentially all you
have to do is slide the part on and glue it. |
To
insure"Excellence in Fiberglass Products,"
Automotive Enterprise hand laminates all panels. Hand
laminating guarantees uniformity of thickness in the
panel. The laminator can control the amount of resin
being used in the part, as resin rich parts are brittle,
thus resulting in a high-strength quality product that
exceeds the modules of elasticity of a factory part. |

|
| The
distinctive feature surrounding Automotive Enterprise's
Corvette Fiberglass
is a scientifically developed black gelcoat which permanently
seals all fiberglass strands from ever printing through
to the surface. By using black gelcoat it enables the
laminator to eliminate all pinholes and air pockets
in the hand laminating process. Black also enables Automotive
Enterprise to show the finish and straightness in our
body panels. |
Curing
all parts before the part is pulled from the mold is
a standard procedure to prevent any shrinkage or warpage
of the parts, so that the structure of the part will
hold its contoured shape indefinitely. |

Jig-Aligned
Reinforcements |
|
|
| Steel
header bars, reinforcement rods and end plates are used
on all 1963 and newer front ends. Using jig-aligned
systems for precise fit assures trouble free installation
of factory hardware. These reinforcements are identical
to General Motors reinforcements. |
These
parts are constructed with the same quality
as our stock weight parts. However, there has been a
need in the world of racing for Corvette panels of high
strength and virtually little weight. Therefore we build
these parts special order. Please specify when ordering. |
